Wright Onshore Safety Services supported an Emergency Pigging Operation on the National Grid , Gas Transmission Pipeline system.  We provided an Radiation Protection Supervisor for 3 days at the receiving Pig Trap, at one of the strategically located UK Compressor Stations.
National Grid Operates over 4500km of below ground Gas pipelines, 2 CoMAH Terminals & 24 Compressor Stations

Wright Onshore Safety Services was chosen by National Grid to deliver an Electronic Permit to Work upgrade to one of its CoMAH terminals in the east of England. This was a great project to be a part of from the design  to delivery ensuring it was imbedded to support the continued safe operation of the Terminal.

CoMAH Safety Report

 Wright Onshore Safety Services was chosen by National Grid to deliver a Full 5 yearly review of a CoMAH Terminals Safety Report. 


This required a Full review of the below:- 

  •  Qualitative & Environmental Risk assessments. 
  •  Bow Tie diagrams meeting the new Centre for chemical and Process Safety(CCPS) criteria. 
  • Staffing and Ladder assessment
